Promotions

By the Authority of the Commanding Officer, the following personnel have been promoted in rank and are afforded all rights, responsibilities, and privileges afforded such rank and grade.

26 November 2019 - Captain Mark Shocklee is appointed Captain of the USS Jaresh-Inyo

23 November 2019 - Commander Mark Shocklee is promoted to Captain for his academic achievements.

5 November 2019 - Lieutenant Commander Mark Shocklee is promoted to Commander for earning Bridge Officer Certification as Chief Communications Officer

27 October 2019 - Lieutenants Hudson and Shocklee, “In recognition of the special trust and faith I place in you to assist in accomplishing the missions of the Jaresh-Inyo and of STARFLEET, you are hereby promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and given all the rights and responsibilities of that rank.”

24 October 2019 - CMDR Sean Kelly is promoted to Captain by order of STARFLEET Command, and given Command of the USS Jaresh-Inyo. Colonel Torres remains Executive Officer of the ship.

10 September 2019 - LTJG V. Rock Hudson is hereby promoted to Lieutenant for achieving STARFLEET Academy Red Squad

31 July 2019 - Chief Petty Officer Morgan Wable-Keene is hereby promoted to Senior Chief Petty Officer, and is appointed Chief Communications Officer

30 July 2019 - LTJG V. Rock Hudson has rejoined the ship, and is appointed Ship’s Counselor/Chaplain

01 July 2019 - Kerry Furr is promoted to First Sergeant

01 July 2019 - Mark Shocklee is promoted to Lieutenant and appointed as Acting Second Officer

07 June 2019 - As a consequence of him joining the USS Solstice, Matthew Barclay is demoted to Lieutenant Commander, and assigned the role of “Liason from the USS Solstice” and the title of “Former Commander” of the USS Jaresh-Inyo.

07 June 2019 - LtCdr Rebecca Overstreet is promoted to Commander, and is appointed to the role of Acting Captain. COL Robert A. Torres, SFMC is appointed to the role of Acting First Officer

5 June 2019 - COL Robert Torres is welcomed back to the USS Jaresh-Inyo after a long illness and is appointed to the role of Acting Second Officer, pending approval of the new acting Captain

28 May 2019 - Mark Shocklee is promoted to the rank of Lieutenant JG

28 April 2019 - Morgan Wable-Keene is promoted to the rank of Chief Mass Communications Specialist (CMC/CPO) in honour of his recent graduation from Point Park University

10 February 2019 - Kerry Furr is promoted to Gunnery Sergeant for long service to the USS Jaresh-Inyo.

06 February 2019 - Mike Houghtaling is welcomed into the group and promoted to the Marine Rank of First Lieutenant.

Promotions made between 31 December 2018 and 7 June 2019 are from the Barclay administration, and are left up for historical reasons. Any promotions made between 7 June 2019 and 26 November 2019 are of the Kelly/Torres administrations. Any promotions after 26 November 2019 are of the Shocklee Administration. I will start to remove the historical promotions as people are promoted.
