Most of the crew has
failed to renew their
membership in STARFLEET, so
there are very few of us
now.
Fortunately, Rebecca
Overstreet has returned to
the ship, and I have been
receiving good advice from a
former member of this ship,
CMDR Sean Kelly, now with
the USS Columbia.
Commander Overstreet reports
extremely hot conditions in
her part of the world, with
temperatures around
114°F/46°C.
As Acting Captain, I have
advanced Morgan Wable-Keene
from Crewman to Mass
Communications Specialist,
1st Class. Mr Wable-Keene is
currently working on a
Sci-Fi film project at Point
Park University, in
Pittsburgh, PA. He might
call his captain to act as
an extra for the film.
I have already done a
couple of streams on Rabbit,
a video streaming website.
Unfortunately, nobody has
attended so far, but I am
uncertain whether I am
setting up the stream
correctly or not. Meanwhile,
I am having the opposite
problem to Commander
Overstreet, as the
temperatures where I live
are ranging from 0-40°F (
-18 to 5°C).
My goal is to get this
ship up to strength (at
least 10 members) by the end
of the year, and therefore,
the anniversary of my
inheriting of the role of
Captain.
Written by my hand, on the
19,136th day of Star
Trek (Stardate
01913.6), Commander Matthew
Barclay, Acting Captain of
the USS Jaresh-Inyo.
